Pipe run

Straights, bends, reducers and branches combined seamlessly into one part.

Start (end A, bottom)

Connection type
Outer diameter · matches HT pipe (indoor drainage, EU) DN 50
Strong interference: sits rock-solid and seals, needs force to pull on.Clear interference: holds and seals by itself, can be pulled off with some force.Slight interference: easy to push on, seals, add a clamp for extra hold.Hardly any interference: for oval pipes, thick walls or frequent removal.Choose the clearance in mm – fixed, independent of the diameter (negative = interference).-0.35 mm diametral clearance = difference of the diameters, i.e. -0.17 mm per side. The presets grow with the pipe diameter: larger pipes get more clearance.

Pipe run tips

Structure

A pipe run starts at end A, which stands on the print bed. The sections follow in the order of the list – each one continues seamlessly from the previous one. It finishes with end B or a closed bottom.

Every branch has its own list of sections – bends, straights, reducers and further branches, nested as deep as needed (up to 24 sections in total). This builds manifolds and whole pipe trees in one piece. Reorder, duplicate (a branch with its sections) and delete right at each section; Ctrl+Z undoes every change.

Direction of bends and branches

“Direction” turns a bend around the pipe axis – relative to the previous bend. Two 45° bends at 0° make a 90° bend, two 45° bends at 180° make an offset. With ±90° the run turns sideways and becomes three-dimensional.

A branch at 0° points where the next bend at 0° would turn. The first bend inside a branch turns back at 0° towards the direction of the pipe it leaves – e.g. for parallel runs.

Printing

Steep parts (leaning more than 45°) usually need supports; a hint appears then. Compact runs with large bend radii print cleanest. If the run does not fit the print bed, cut it with the “Split a model” tool.

Every branch is fully configurable: diameter, mount type, fit, insertion depth, stop and whether it ends with a connection or closed.
